FACTOR V : genetic mutation causing unusually fast blood clotting.
This film explores the limits of existence and depicts the abrupt fall of a character into the abyss of his own body. A metaphor for the fragility of life, this film unfolds in a succession of fragmented tableaux, suspended moments between dreams and thoughts where memories and visions are confused.
Inspired by a personal experience, the scenes of this composition retrace the story of a night in intensive care and the struggle against a pulmonary embolism diagnosed late.
This project is the result of many hours of work and the end of a long, introspective, and deeply personal process.

The animation was entirely created in 3D and rendered in 4K without the use of artificial intelligence software. Part of the post-production was processed in real time and synchronized with the audio. This method also enabled a more precise and intuitive approach to designing and controlling some effects integrated into the compositing.
